Before starting chiropractic care I had neck pain 24/7. In August of 1994 I was in a car accident. I’ve been to pain clinics, doctors and physical therapy. I’ve had acupressure, acupuncture, cortisone shots, taking Motrin 800 six times a day. I could not lift, carry, push or pull, or even live a normal life. I have had two surgeries for my condition. Still after all of this living everyday 24/7 with pain.
In June of 2004 I started coming to Meussling Chiropractic. My neck pain is gone. I feel great. Do you know what it is like to not have that pain 24/7? Great. I laugh now. I am actually enjoying life again.

Prior to visiting Dr. Meussling, I experienced frequent headaches, hip “popping” and back pain. I was unable to participate in activities that I enjoy such as basketball. My headaches and other pains inhibited my ability to work at the level I needed on the job.

I had several health issues when I came to Dr. Meussling. My leg pains had been diagnosed as Predominantly Sensory Peripheral Polyneuropathy which neurologists told me there was no cure and nothing they could do. The only way I got relief was by spending 4 to 6 hours a day in a tub of warm water. I was not able to sleep at night due to the pain. Since coming to Dr. Meussling I do not have pains in my legs! It’s great being able to live a normal life without having to sit in the tub. I now use that time to go places and do things with my family. I have more energy and I am not depressed and frustrated anymore.

Before chiropractic care I had chronic knee pain and headaches. My medical doctor had prescribed two different medications for migraines and another medication for patellar tendonitis. Both conditions started about six years ago. I missed school because the headaches were too painful to get out of bed. I quit running and exercising due to knee pain.
Since chiropractic care with Dr. Meussling, I haven’t had headaches or knee pain. I was able to gradually start running again. I no longer need my multiple prescriptions.
I am able to be present, alert and attentive at my job now that I am not in constant pain. I can participate in physical activities without pain.

I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain that caused me to be very cautious in my daily activities. After determining the source of irritation in my cervical spine, Dr. Meussling suggested a care plan to help me achieve wellness. The chiropractic treatments helped to alleviate the pain.
Dr. Meussling includes education with his treatment plan. This education has shown me possible contributing factors causing pain and what I can do to change those factors. Simple changes in everyday activities, as well as simple exercises to do at home have helped me return to things I enjoy. I have been going to a chiropractor for many years with neck pain, back pain, and migraine headaches. Dr. Meussling was the first to actually want to know the cause of my pain. He didn’t just fix the problem, but he sought out the reason for the pain. I really appreciate knowing why I was hurting so much.
Since I have been under Dr. Meussling’s care I have not had one migraine. He has also shown me ways to avoid strain on my neck that have helped keep my neck pain to a minimum.
Now that I have been headache free (I have suffered with migraines since late Jr. High School—I am now 50) and have learned what I can and cannot do in regards to my back health, I am able to function at a higher level than before.

Before starting chiropractic I could barely lift my arms due to pain in my shoulders. My right elbow couldn’t be touched, it was so sore. My right wrist was stiff and sore with no grip as I was unable to lift a coffee pot. I couldn’t get dressed without my wife’s help. After visiting Dr. Meussling I have no pain anywhere and am quite mobile. Everything is back to normal. Since I’ve always been skeptical about chiropractic it’s difficult for me to believe the results. However, I am quite thankful about the results.

Dr. Meussling has been a godsend! If he had only known what all was wrong with me when I walked into his office for the first time to schedule my first appointment, he would have sent me home! I entered his office experiencing all kinds of ailments including vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, extreme fatigue, back pain, migraines, and an assortment of other symptoms. I had been experiencing them for over 6 months off and on. I have had to leave my teaching job or call in sick often, which isn’t good for my class of students with special needs. I had missed conferences, parent meetings, and even a few of my master’s classes at the university. I honestly thought I was losing my mind due to all the times I had heard myself say I was sick. Upon the initial consultation with Dr. Meussling, I had my doubts that his work as a chiropractor could honestly help me. I was surprised by his thoroughness in finding out what was wrong during conversation and tests. He really seemed interested in finding out what was really wrong with me and fixing it. I have been seeing him for about 3 months now and nearly all my symptoms are gone! The ones that are still around aren’t as severe and after tests at the hospital have been found to be things that Dr. Meussling can’t fix during appointments (like a cyst on my ovary). My life has changed dramatically. I have been able to stay with my students for a full week! I am sleeping better and I don’t find myself saying I don’t feel good as often. He is honestly a man who knows his business and would genuinely care for anyone who needed help. This made it even easier to come in even when I wasn’t feeling so well. I will continue to come to him until I am better and probably now and again just to have myself checked out!

I was a wreck!!! Not only did I have trouble and much pain with my back, but also my hips, legs and feet! I could not stand up straight much less walk!!! I couldn’t do anything!!!
Dr. Meussling is like a miracle to me! I am no longer crooked so my clothes actually fit good! I can stand and walk straight and tall with my head held up high with no pain! And I got the wiggle back in my walk!
Dr. Meussling’s care really gave me back my energy, confidence and self-esteem! I love to dance and now I am actually dancing and dating again!

Before coming to see Dr. Meussling, I was experiencing constant lower back pain with numbness in my foot. I had great difficulty with physical activity such as household chores and exercise. My life seemed to revolve around my back pain and how bad I was feeling each day.
Since I started chiropractic care I have noticed a big difference in my back. I am not in constant pain anymore. I am able to do household chores without being in pain for three to four days afterwards. I really thought I was headed for the operating room, but now I have hope that I can heal naturally through chiropractic.

Before coming to see Dr. Meussling I had sciatic pain down my leg for about 1 ½ months. Also, I had stiffness in my ankles and pain in both hands. I even had stiffness in my neck. My hands were going numb at night.
Since I have been coming to see Dr. Meussling my back is much improved. My feet are bending much easier. My hands are not going numb at night. I can turn my head without all that “crunching” noise. And, I am not taking any arthritis or pain medication!
I actually feel good each day, and I can work out on my treadmill and can do the things I wanted to do before care. My medical doctor say I have severe arthritis in my spine and to be careful what I do, so I am quite surprised by how good I feel and the things I can still do!

Following knee replacement surgery two years ago I developed severe pain in my right leg and lower back. It was a bundle of pain that would ache, burn, and would even go numb at night. It was a constant pain that felt like a pinched nerve. I could hardly walk or do my housework.
Since being under chiropractic care with Dr. Meussling I have improved so much. You couldn’t believe all the pain I had that went away. I feel like a different person. I can walk without pain and I have more energy.

I started having a pain in my inner right knee about a year ago. This pain affected my sleeping since I sleep on my side and I would wake up at night and be tired all day. I babied this knee and it started to get better, but my other knee started acting the same way. After six months I was having trouble walking and driving. It was affecting my job since I drive for a living now.
Dr. Meussling showed me where my problem was and since then I’ve been under chiropractic care and I am doing all the things I used to do in my active life. I no longer think about the pain. I just get up and go. I can drive and get out of a car like I used to do. I can keep up with other people walking.

Before I started my treatments with Dr. Meussling, I was in considerable pain in my lower back and pelvic area. I did not want to go into the hospital for back surgery so I went to see Dr. Meussling. Immediately the situation improved and the pain was gone.
The condition improved, I was able to walk upright, play golf and do my “honey do’s”. When the situation flared up again I went to the hospital emergency room four times. Then I went back to see Dr. Meussling and he reduced the pain in one session and got rid of it four hours later at a second visit.
I have more energy to do my “honey do’s”. I also am able to play with my 7-year old son and 5-year old daughter. I sleep so much better and have zero pain.

Prior to seeing Dr. Meussling I would have chronic pain daily and headaches everyday. Within a week’s time I would have 2-3 migraines.
Since being under chiropractic care I have not had a migraine in months. My chronic pain has disappeared too.

My 2 month old daughter was having at least 2-3 hours of crying and screaming every night. Some nights were worse than others. She would stiffen up and would act like she was in pain. She was also very gassy. This continued into her 3rd month and seemed to be getting worse. The bad nights were more often and the crying and screaming was lasting longer.
After a few visits with Dr. Meussling she was a different child. She was no longer acting like she was in pain and was also not crying and screaming at night. Within a few weeks she was sleeping through the night! Mommy gets more sleep and no longer feels like I have no options when my daughter is in pain.

I had really given in to the pain. I couldn’t get rid of it so I tried to just accept it. It limited my mobility. It kept me from visiting my grandchildren. It sometimes made it tough for me to get to work. It was debilitating pain but I didn’t believe there was anything I could do about it.
When I saw the ad in January, I immediately called the number and set up an appointment. I learned about chiropractic practice and a full health care plan. I learned about a holistic approach. I learned how the spine affects the entire body. I followed all of the advice I was given.
My improvement was slow coming because I was just beginning to heal from very successful back and knee surgery and the healing process takes time. Both surgeries went very well and I had no pain from them but suffered for years from chronic arthritic pain which controlled my life (making it difficult and sometimes impossible for me to travel any distance).
I have been pain free for weeks now and able to drive to Columbus and Tiffin to visit grandchildren without any pain. I am certain I can hop a plane and visit my sister in Florida now too! My family can’t believe it. It has been years since I could do these things!

From the moment I brought my daughter home from the hospital, I knew something was wrong with her tummy. She was not a good eater and was visibly uncomfortable most of the time. She had gas constantly and was obviously in pain as she cried frequently. Her pediatrician put her on medication and we experimented with nursing and seven different kinds of formula. Nothing helped. I brought my daughter to Dr. Meussling when she was just five months old. Within two weeks of seeing him, she started sleeping through the night, which she had never done before. She is now off all medication and back on regular formula. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to see her in such pain from the gas and not be able to make it better. I was concerned at first that being adjusted would make her cry and break my heart more. To my surprise she barely cried even the first time she saw him. She loves going to see him, as she lies on the table, even at 6 months old, and lets him work on her. Everyone who knows her remarks that she is a different baby since going to see Dr. Meussling.

I had severe pain in my right hip. It has gotten so much better since I started seeing Dr. Meussling. Even if I overdo it and I feel the area tightening up, the severe pain has not come back.
I was able to relocate homes and do a lot of lifting in the process. I could have never done that without chiropractic treatments.
